GSHMPR'S Purpose

• To increase understanding and support of healthcare institutions and their services through the stimulation of ethical public relations and marketing methods applied inside and outside the organization; and
• To strive continuously to raise levels of knowledge and standards in the field of healthcare marketing and public relations

Each year GSHMPR develops a program of activities to aid those professionals charged with the marketing and public relations functions at their healthcare institutions.

The Georgia Society for Healthcare Marketing and Public Relations (GSHMPR) is one of many professional societies affiliated with GHA: An Association of Hospitals and Health Systems. Each society, while under the administrative and financial auspices of GHA, is autonomous, having its own bylaws, elected officers and programs.
